Leading
- Avoid always coming backwards for the ball.
- Stand behind the defender, they can’t watch you and the ball at the same time.
- Watch more than just the ball.
- The defender is the key to leading.
- As they turn to look at you or follow you, change direction in their blind spot!
- Lead hard and fast, use the space you have well.
- Lead in front to make sure you’re seen and drag the defender away from the line.
- Lead back towards the line and high.
