Coaches Play Favorites, they want to Win. But they don’t play the favorites many think they do.

   2. Can they count on you?If you are not dependable or trustworthy, I don’t care how talented you are, you will struggle to play.
2. Players who make the Right Plays
   1. Coaches want playmakers. Do you make winning plays?
   2. You don’t have to score.
   3. There are many pieces to make a good team.
3. Players who fill a Role
   1. The most talented players don’t always make the best team.
   2. Teams are like puzzles. The pieces have to fit.
   3. If you can fill a role that the team needs, you generally play
4. Players who help the team WIN
   1. Coaches want to WIN.
   2. Make plays that help the team WIN
   3. Help the team WIN and be a “favorite”
5. Players who Work Hard
   1. Work harder than everyone. 
   2. Hard work is contagious and can impact a team in winning ways.

   1. ‘No Deposit – No Return.’
   2. Coaches want commitment from their players.
   3. Do the work. Do the extra work. Show Up.
   4. Commit – Committed players = Committed teams – Committed teams = Winning teams

   1. Talent does matter, you have to have some level of talent to play.
   2. BUT talent is not everything.
   3. Many talented players don’t get playing time.
   4. Develop your talent. Hone your skills.
