5v5 game (can be more or less depending on group size)

1. Reds play one way with blues playing the other
2. Objective is to pass the ball across the box either direct or using intermediate play
3. Receiver can pass direct to receiver so players must protect the line to goal
4. Play 2.5 minute blocks – 30 second rest

Rules

1. Receivers must be between the cones
2. When ball passed to the receiver, then they sub with the passer

Scoring

1. 1 point for every successful pass to a receiver
2. 1 point for every clean win/ intercept

1. Make the extra pass

4. Look to receive so you can threaten forwards
5. Focus on quality of basics

DEFENDING

1. Find your players
2. Forehand defence
3. Protect the centre

1. If the ball goes out – restarts by sending a ball in at random to keep tempo high
2. Free hits can go direct to receiver

1. Each team gets a limited number of balls
2. How many goals per 2.5 mins
