Play Through The Lines

1. 2v2+1 with a player between the lines
2. Objective is to use that player to play through to the next team
3. Two pairs as defenders inside small rectangles
4. Adjust distances between cones based on the age and skill level of the players.
5.  If the defenders win the ball then attackers and defenders switch out
6. Rotate the free player in the middle regularly
7. CANNOT dribble through

The objective is to teach passing through defensive lines, the free player emphasizes the importance of playing the third man to go through the defensive lines.

Defenders

1. Compact
2. Close passing lanes (communicate)
3. Layer the defenders

Attackers

1. Width
2. Patience
3. Communication
4. Ready to receive 
5. Speed of reaction

1. Sub out if defenders win the ball
2. Start again if attackers lose the ball over sideline

1. 5 balls per pair
2. Time to get through
